Colt to Cullom

Today is the first day Colt rides on an airplane. We are going to visit my Dad's side of the family in Cullom, Illinois. I'm a little nervous about it. We leave at 7 pm so I'll give him a bottle when we take off and hopefully he'll fall asleep shortly after that. Danny won't be with us but I will have my parents there to hand him off when he starts screaming :)

Father's Day Weekend

Colt had a blast visiting his Grandparents in Blooming Grove. Grammy and Papa were nice enough to take care of him through the night both nights we were there. Danny and I even went to dinner and a movie. Sunday morning we all went to church where Grammy and Papa argued over who got to stay with Colt in the nursery. We had a big lunch at the McGraw house with all the family and celebrated Colt and Danny's first Father's day together. All in all it was a wonderful weekend and we always look forward to seeing them.

Well last night Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton agreed to keep Colt for the night so Danny and I could have a much needed date night and a full nights sleep. We went to a nice dinner and then a movie and was asleep by 10:30pm. I slept about 11 hours which I have not done since before I was pregnant. Although the brake was nice we could not wait to hop in the car and go pick him up as soon as we were awake. I'm starting to think this could become a tradition we do once a month. What do you say Grandma and Grandpa?? :)
